The forum is organised into categories and forums. Announcements hold release notes for the DZPage tools: what is new, what changed, what was fixed. Help forums are for concrete server problems — loot that does not spawn, events that never fire, a config the server refuses to load. Guides and scripts collect things worth keeping: working configs, small tools, step-by-step instructions.
Reading is open to everyone, without an account. To post you sign in with Discord — no separate password, no e-mail confirmation. Formatting uses a small Markdown subset: bold, italic, lists, quotes, links and, most importantly, code blocks with three backticks, which keep XML and JSON readable instead of mangled.
In question-and-answer forums the person who asked can mark the reply that solved it. That answer moves to the top of the page and is marked as the accepted answer for search engines too — the next person with the same problem finds the solution instead of just the question.
No. All public forums can be read without an account, and every thread has a permanent link you can share. You only need an account to post, reply, like or watch a thread — sign-in works with Discord in a few seconds.
Put it into a code block: a line with three backticks, your code, then another line with three backticks. You can add a language after the opening backticks (for example xml, json or c) to label the block. Code blocks keep indentation and angle brackets intact — pasted XML stays readable, and nobody has to guess what your file actually looks like.
In the announcements forum. Every larger change gets its own thread with what is new, what changed and what was fixed. The whole forum is also available as an RSS feed at /forum.xml — you can subscribe to it in a feed reader or pipe it into a Discord channel with a webhook, and you will never miss an update.
Yes. Links are written as [text](https://…) and are marked as user content for search engines. Images are embedded from a handful of common hosts (Imgur, Discord, Steam and DZPage itself); links to other hosts stay links, so nobody loads content from unknown servers just by reading a thread.
Every forum has three separate permissions: who may read it, who may start threads and who may reply. That way an announcement forum can be readable by everyone but writable only by the team, while a help forum is open to all members. Reported posts land in a queue the operator works through; the team can edit, delete, move, close and pin threads.
