Upload the files from your server's profiles folder: the .RPT is the engine report with errors, the .ADM is the admin log with players, kills and building. On Nitrado you find both under Logs, on your own server in the folder set with -profiles=.
The analyzer reads the files line by line in your browser, groups repeating messages and explains each problem: what happened, whether it matters and how to fix it. Messages that every vanilla server writes are marked, so you do not chase Bohemia's own bugs.
Positions from the ADM appear on the satellite map. Pick a player to see their trail, check kill lines with distance, find bases and look at suspicious patterns like combat logging or position jumps.
In the profiles folder of the server (the folder set with -profiles= in the start parameters). Nitrado: web interface, Logs, download DayZServer_x64_...RPT and ...ADM. Console servers on Nitrado write the same files. The client RPT of your own game is in %localappdata%\DayZ.
No. The files are read and analyzed completely in your browser. Only item class names (for example M4A1) are looked up on DZPage to show icons and names; player names, IDs, chat and positions never leave your computer.
Kills and deaths are always logged. Building and placing only appear with adminLogBuildActions = 1 and adminLogPlacement = 1 in serverDZ.cfg, the regular player list with adminLogPlayerList = 1. With adminLogPlayerHitsOnly = 1 zombie hits are left out.
Some messages are written even by the unmodified DayZ 1.29 server, for example a types.xml entry for Static_FrozenScientist_DE. We checked this against hundreds of real logs. These messages come from Bohemia's files, so you do not need to fix them.
RPTs of busy servers reach several hundred MB. The analyzer reads them in pieces and stays responsive; several files at once are fine. Very large ADMs need a bit of memory, but a day of a full server works on any normal PC.
Not necessarily. The flags are hints: an admin teleport looks like a teleport cheat, a lost connection like combat logging. Use them to know where to look, then check the details before you ban anyone.
