The server costs money. Setting it up does not.
All 30 tools on DZPage are free and will stay free: edit types.xml, distribute loot, tune weather and the day-night cycle, place events and spawn points, plan bases, build vehicles. Renting your server through the link on this page costs you nothing extra – but it funds exactly those tools.
Frequently asked questions
Do I get a discount through your link?
No. You pay Nitrado exactly the same price as without our link. The only difference is that DZPage receives a commission and pays for hosting and development with it. That is why every one of these buttons is labelled “advertising partner”.
Which platforms can I rent a DayZ server for?
PC, PlayStation (PS4 and PS5) and Xbox. All three are available at Nitrado, and all of them are managed through the same web interface.
How many players fit on the server?
8 to 125 slots. Runtime is freely chosen between 3 and 365 days, and you can upgrade or downgrade later at any time.
Can I install mods?
On PC servers yes – the web interface installs supported mods and plugins. On console servers, according to Nitrado, modding is currently not possible.
Do I have to take a subscription?
No. Besides the subscription there is prepaid: pay once for a period, then the server simply expires without you having to cancel anything.
Do I need technical knowledge?
Not to get started – the server runs by itself after ordering. As soon as you want custom loot tables, events or spawn points, use the editors here on DZPage; they write the XML files for you.
